Imagine your translator receives this string in a spreadsheet, with no other information:

They translate it. It's a perfectly good translation. Then it ships under a cut-off article preview, where it's meant to reveal the whole article, and it reads as "show a few more". Nobody notices, because nobody who speaks the language looked at the page.
Nothing about that translation was wrong in the spreadsheet. It was wrong on the page. Most of this chapter is about closing the gap between the two.
